It's taken some time to write this one. I had a synopsis all worked out, but my ed and I changed it so much, the book was more 'pantsed' than 'plotted' and so the twists and turns of the plot and what would happen, were all a bit vague until I sat and wrote.
I hate writing like that, but for some reason, this book refused to let itself be plotted in advance! Either that, or my brain was just having a meltdown and refused to play ball.
Anyway, it's done. But I'm going to use the weekend to go through it with a fine tooth comb, checking timelines, making sure its festive and you get that sense of Christmas, checking plot specifics and eye colours, etc, etc.
For a change of pace, I've been trying to plot out book 7's synopsis! Can't say much about it just yet, but I think it's slowly coming together. I'm working with the character names of Ella and Sam, but I'm not sure they're right. They may still change.
Names are so important, as it states on the latest blog at http://www.loveisthebestmedicine.wordpress.com
Anyhoo....im going to work on the plot line for book 7 too, over the weekend. This book WILL be plotted out. It will not meander, It will not be vague and give me headaches and anguish like book 6 did!
Six books! Can you believe it? I can remember just wanting to get published by Mills and Boon, just wanting to get that first book out there and yet here I am, with four published, six written and about to start work on the seventh! How crazy is that?
I'm a very lucky lady. and I have such great readers and fans out there, who have no idea how much I appreciate each and every one of them. because without them, without YOU, I could not get to do this wonderful job. Something I dreamt about for years.
So thank you. Each and every one of you.
